It all starts with a brushstroke – all the designs come from the creative mind of our co-founder and artist, Nicole. After an initial pencil sketch, the lovingly painted figures and shapes are brought to life with watercolors. Many designs then receive their final touches with watercolor and contour pencils. In this way, each individual design, from the large okapi to the tiny seashell, is created with great sensitivity and care.
The next step involves testing and final selection of designs and backgrounds to create a thematically and color-coordinated collection for you. Test prints are carried out, designs and backgrounds are placed side-by-side and layered, and card combinations are tested. All of this takes place in our small workshop in the heart of Berlin. There, everything is printed, checked, finished, and packaged by hand.
We use only high-quality materials for all our products, so that the hand-painted artworks retain their vibrancy and watercolor character even after printing.
What makes our collections special: We offer ready-made cards for immediate use, as well as card sets with over 50 individual designs that you can arrange and combine according to your own ideas. This way, each card becomes your own personal little work of art. Experiment and find your own style – playful, simple, colorful, or elegant.
